My complaint:
I filed both my 2021 and 2020 taxs at the same time with H R Block in Feb of this year 2022. My first return 2021 was rejected by the IRS and ameded by the IRS to a different amount Much lower, and when I called the person who did my taxs, she was no longer there, when I asked about my tax return for 2020 I was told it was completed and submitted and that they didnt know why everything had been changed and that I needed to contact the IRS. I called H R Block 5 times each time I was told something different. Today I got the supervisor finally who was able to see that my 2020 was rejected and never filed?? No one from H R Block check to see why it was rejected?? Or Contacted me to let me know that there was a problem with the 2020 return ( the H R Block Tax Rep who did my taxs put the Wrong social security number down for my son on my 2020 return which is why it was rejected. NO ONE FOLLOWED THROUGH ON ANY OF THIS, I HAD TO CALL AND CALL AND CALL this is the 3rd year of my taxs being done through you guys that I have had nothing but problems with the processing of my electronic tax returns.
Suggested solution:
I want to be refunded all the fees I paid for my tax returns for 2021, and 2020 as the first one was reject and amended by the IRS. And the second one for 2020 was completely rejected because the H R tax rep entered the wrong social security number for my son, which she should of caught.
I will most likely be fined by the IRS regarding my 2020 Tax return since it was not filed in the timely manner in which it should have been. and I will be expecting H R Block to cover those fees seeing as how it was the reps faul for entering the wrong social security number and when it rejected not contacting me or going over the file to see what the issue was which should have been an easy catch for IRS Tax preparer.
