My complaint:
HP Instant Ink draws you in with this monthly ink service. I did this for a few years and realized that it doesn’t make sense for me. When I tried to cancel my account, HP FROZE my printer. So I paid for the extra month (they need a month’s notice). My account is in good standing. All bills have been paid. I have NOT gone over my pages (without paying for them) and HP now tells me that my ink cartridges that I have already paid for will be disabled in 15 days bc I wish to cancel my account. This is a fraudulent scam. Don’t do it! I now have three ink cartridges that are brand new and will be unusable even though I’ve already paid for the ink, paid for my pages and everything else.
Suggested solution:
HP Insta Ink should allow customers to complete use of the cartridges that they sent.
