My complaint:

My printer would not print because it did not recognize my HP Color Ink cartridge which I purchased online (not from InstaInk). When I called in, the tech person was very nice and helpful. The problem is with the company. I bought a new printer and had to sign up with HP InstaInk for some reason that I can’t remember. The first couple of months were free and I did not put in billing information as I don’t like having my billing information floating around in some company’s database. Fast forward about a year. I bought replacement HP color ink cartridge on line. I put it in and everything worked fine for a few weeks. Suddenly, my husband goes to print something and I get an HP InstaInk error. What I learned was that my account was suspended because I didn’t have billing information in place. My black ink cartridge was original but my color was not so, now, I can’t use the black ink cartridge because it has an InstaInk chip in it. I can either enter my billing information or I can go buy a black ink cartridge off the market. What a crock of $%@!. I paid for the ink cartridges to use in an HP printer but NOOOOOO, sorry…ante up or you can’t print. Technology should work to make my life easier, instead, I have to waste an hour out of my day because big brother HP is watching and waiting to screw me. Well HP, you just lost a customer. I don’t print that much and ink is outrageously expensive so,when I need more ink, I’ll just buy one of the cheap printers that cost less than your ink.

Suggested solution:

They can give me an HP 64303 black ink cartridge for my printer since I paid for the InstaInk cartridge which still had 95% left in it that I can't use.
