My complaint:
Instant Ink have banned me from subscribing to them because within the 2 years of using their subscription on and off I have apparently gone over the 4 times enrolment limit which doesn’t exist in their policy, I also have had no warning this would happen otherwise I would not have unsubscribed. This was very unfair, especially as I wasn’t receiving ink the last year as I haven’t had my printer connected to wifi. If I talk to them on their WhatsApp chat service they comment then close the conversation straight away before I get a chance to read the reply or respond, so I would never get to resolve or end my conversation. This happened with 3 other staff members in a row, they also don’t seem to have a place you can leave a complaint to get this resolved (which again is unfair) so I have left one here.
Suggested solution:
1. Considering I had no warning and there is nothing about this in the policy about a 4 times enrolment limit they should at least had offered for me to subscribe one last time (without welcome kit) with the knowledge of me knowing if I subscribe I won't ever be able to subscribe again.
2. They need to also adds this as a warning when subscribing or going to cancel so people are aware this can happen at any point to them without warning.
3. Also please don't end conversation in instant ink WhatsApp help chat until problem has been resolved, at least let the client respond to what you have said before closing it.
