My complaint:
Like with so many others out there we are recently homeless due to covid related eviction. We been dealing with this for almost 3 months now, we tried applying to different properties but they want us to make 3 times there rent….really ?? Who makes a minimum of $7000.00 a month to rent an apartment, if I made that much if be paying on a mortgage to own my own house (insane) Anyway we figured since we have to stay in motelhotels why not get rewarded for it. As of now we’re on almost 20 stays through a website called (HOTELS.COM) which offers a free nights stay when booking 10 stays through there website ( there’s no small print anywhere that states any restrictions, or says anything about how long it takes to redeem there reward) So here we are thinking we have a free night stay at one of there motelhotel and my wife goes to redeem and they give her the run around…they want proof and receipts of when and where we stayed ( should be on there website) now there saying we have to wait possibly 35 days ?? Answer me this why don’t you state that when offering your 10 night stay rewards…..it’s BS I’m sorry. Now that we’re almost out of money and could use that free nights stay, I’ve got to explain to my children why we can’t get that free night. Or maybe I should have the people that work for hotels.com to explain that to our 3 kids ages 16,14, and 6. As if things are not screwed up enough we have to deal with this shit. IF YOU OFFER SOMETHING, THEN PROVIDE IT. I WILL BE TALKING TO THE BBB ABOUT THIS AND I WILL BE LETTING ANY AND EVERYONE IN THE HOTELS AND MOTELS WE STAY AT, AND STAYED AT ABOUT THIS BS. ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY WE’VE SPENT ITS THE PRINCIPLE……ONLY GOOD THING OUT OF THIS IS THAT IT TEACHES MY CHILDREN TO ASK QUESTIONS FIRST BECAUSE PLACES OFFER THINGS THAT MAY NOT BE WHAT THERE ACTUALLY OFFERING !!!
ALSO MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUT THE ROOMS FIRST (HOTEL’S.COM) IS OFFERING BEFORE YOU ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN IN, WEVE FOUND CONDOMS, DRUGS AND DRUG PARAFANILLA
