My complaint:

I was told to use the hopper app for deals in relation to booking a hotel. I put a 185 dollar deposit onto a hotel in vegas for the week on April 29-May 2, 2023.

I went back to visit my reservation, so was told the reservation had expired and my deposit was non-refundable. I did not book within the allowed window, however, i was not made aware of the expiry; no warnings or emails. I missed the cut off by a few hours and hopper took my deposit.

I was using hopper as a way to travel on a budget, and now that they have stolen my deposit. I believe Hopper tricked me into booking quickly and there was no warning regarding the fine print.

Will not be using this app or recommending it to anyone. I would like my deposit back.

Suggested solution:

I would like my deposit back. I was not made aware of the fine print, non refundable deposit, as a fist time user.
