HomeTowne Studios complaint: BUGS, BROKEN AC, REFUSAL OF SERVICE ANIMAL

My complaint:

When we arrived at the property we checked in and upon doing so notices several people loitering and watching us, several partaking in drug use or sales, when we got to the room our bed had hairs all over it and the pillows too, the comforter had fresh wet spots on it, there were bugs on the floor, hair all over the bathroom, the floor had a sticky wet substance all over it under and beside the bed. When I reached out to the front desk she told me to come back down and show her the pictures so we got our stuff and went down. When we went down there a different lady started hassling me about my service animal, asking if he was a service dog and saying animals are not allowed on the premises. I again stated that he was a SERVICE ANIMAL therefore he has to be with me and I cannot be refused anywhere. They had no other rooms available and she told me to contact them in the morning and ask the gm for a refund. So we left and had paid for another room somewhere else. When I called the next day the GM refused to refund my room and so then hotels.com reached out and he refused them as well. WE DID NOT STAY!! I didn’t feel safe being here, people were watching us and kept driving by as we locked up our uhaul trailer and went to the room. Pictures for proof provided to both property and hotels.com and I will post here too! GMs name is BRIAN! Colorado Springs Hometown Studios. I was on the road for 2 days before stopping here. I was never, not one time disrespectful.

Suggested solution:

I requested a refund and would still like one. We did not stay at the hotel, we had to pay for a room somewhere else. My service dog was refused which is against the Americans with Disabilities Act
