My complaint:

I am filing this complaint through complaint biz.
Received 4 calls from the rx this month
1)We’re refilling your prescriptions through our refill program
2)Your scripts are ready
3)You haven’t picked up your scripts yet
4)Last call before scripts are returned to stock

Nobody called me or my doctor to say a prescription had expired

When I asked about the missing script I was made to feel like an Alzheimer’s patient.
1)You never had that script filled here
2)Here’s a printout of your meds

I am still upset about being made to feel like I was a crazy person. Who didn’t know what she was talking about.

After my insistence I got
Your in our system twice
We don’t have any of that insulin in stock

Can you call another Hannaford Pharmacy to see if any of them have it? I asked.
Then
Oh your script is expired you need to call your doctor.
It’s Friday evening so this is what will happen
Call doctor on Monday, doctor calls pharmacy
Pharmacy orders insulin
Insulin in pharmacy on Tuesday
I have to find a ride on Tuesday evening (before 8pm)
I will finally be able to put insulin in my arm on Wednesday morning ( I take it in the morning)

Suggested solution:

Teach staff how to treat customers.
If your going to have an auto refill program, customers and or doctors to needing refills prior to the costumer coming to pick them up.
