My complaint:
Brought back a package of meat, nothing but fat,told the blonde woman at customer service out of 3 lbs. One pound was fat..her response , what do you want me to do…. Wrong response !! Because I didn’t keep my receipt from the previous day I could not return it…she refused to take it from me for the garbage , she told me to take it outside,as I was going to grocery shop and had to leave the store to find a garbage can, needless to say I was back outside I got in my car and went across to market 32 and got my groceries there… I was treated poorly as a senior ,she could have let me put it in the garbage can right there, and not sent me back out in the pouring rain to look for a garbage can, very poor training for customer service.
Suggested solution:
I deserved a chance to get another package of beef to replace what went in the garbage,on social security you cannot throw food away ...I was thought respect for my elders something lacking at Hannaford...
