My complaint:
2 new tyres fitted at Halfords Auto Centre Perry Barr, Birmingham, UK on 27022023.
Pick up car stated everything was fine and given an advisory the front brake pad needed doing.
Drove home ,after an hour left to go on the m6 motorway ,returned early evening the same day 27023023.
The following day 28022023 at about 10 ,o’clock had 2 phone call from Halfords Auto Centre Perry Barr, Birmingham, UK( missed the first call ) and they rang back straight after informing me that they need to check the torque settings on my wheels ,you can imagine the shock i got on hearing that the wheels wasn’t check by another member of staff which is the stranded procedure.

Suggested solution:
I have given you the facts of what happened ,surely that's for you to take action. As regards my time and petrol money to be recalled back to the garage for a safety issue that should have been done on the day and not let a customer drive off in what could have been an unsafe car .
I will never use Halfords auto centres again ,would not feel safe .
I presume this will be sweep under the carpet and be told that we done you a favour for having your car put right and that I should be grateful (that's the attitude I got from the garage)
I await your reply ,but not expecting much .
