Green Dot Bank complaint: Requesting refund of funds from Closed Account

My complaint:

I was issued a refund to my Green Dot Card and when I attempted to access my account I received a message stating that the cardaccount had been closed. Upon contacting Green Dot I was informed that my account was closed because of an issue with my addressed. I was advised on December 8, 2020 that a request would be put in to send my check. I contacted Green Dot again 2 weeks later and was informed that some information was input incorrectly and thus my refund was processed. So the agent put in another request and gave me yet another reference number. I called back a few weeks later (December 28th) and was told that my check was cut on December 18th and that I should receive it in 5-7 days. I call back on January 4, 2021 and I am advised that the request didn’t contain the proper information so it was denied. I have been contacting Green Dot for almost a month and still have not gotten my money nor any resolution about how or when I will receive my money.

Suggested solution:

Send my money via check ASAP or transfer my funds to my new Green Dot card.
