My complaint:

I bought a prepaid green dot card form Walmart Georgia and took it home and tried to register it. I tried half of the night and couldn’t get it to register, i also tried to use it to make a purchase online and it wasn’t recognized although when i requested a balance online i had all my money i put on the card. I called green dot customer support on the back of the card and i talked to a gentleman and he couldn’t get it to work either. He told me that he would have to close the account and card and send me a refund in the mail in about 7 to 10 working day because it was a faulty card. I waited on the card and then called them back about 5 times and they kept connecting me with someone else and they gave me the run around too. Gave me an email address to send information to and never told me how to go about it. I called back a few other times. One lady told me that they didn’t give refunds and i would have to spend the money on my card, but that was impossible since they closed the account. I called back again and waited and nobody answered. And now i am on the line and waiting and personally i am very frustrated with them.

Suggested solution:

All i want is my hard earned money back and i will surely recommend that nobody i know buy a card from them
