My complaint:

I signed up to view the menu online after hello fresh recommended them. I had a look and had to set a dispatch date, which I set for 10 days time to ensure I had the one to cancel if I wasn’t impressed with the menu.

The menu itself was limited and as a vegetarian I found nothing I liked, therefore I immediately cancelled and received ation straight away.

A full week later I noticed a charge on my account (no emails as to why) when I emailed they stated the first box has been sent although I have no emails to show this and that I’ve been charged for something I cancelled a week previously and it was too late to refund as it had been dispatched despite it been a week after I cancelled.

I emailed and was met by unhelpful assurances a manager would call back but I’ve received nothing. I also asked for proof they state you have to cancel your first box separately to your subscription but they couldn’t provide.

They are scamming people into viewing menus and charging for the privilege
