My complaint:

I walked up to a worker and asked her the price of 2 hats. Her colleague was talking to her at the time. She rang something into the register and said it was $6.40. I reminded her that I had asked for the price first. There was a misunderstanding involving a pair of pants that got included in the price accidentally. I then gave her a handbag to add, and she said that it would be $4.49. When I went to pay, she held the hat and mentioned a different price than previously stated. I pointed out her earlier quote of $6.40, suggesting she wasn’t paying attention.

I expressed my desire to complete the purchase quickly, but then she became upset and walked away. Another employee, claiming to be the manager, began explaining their pricing policy at length, which I found unnecessary and time-consuming, especially with a line forming behind me. I suggested foregoing the hat to expedite the process, but was met with refusal to proceed with any sale due to perceived confrontational behavior, and was asked to leave the store.

I was taken aback by the response, as my intention was simply to make my purchases and leave. I even sought the name of a manager who would be available during the week for further discussion, but to no avail.

I left without being able to buy the pants, which were important for an outfit for an upcoming trip. This situation left me frustrated, especially since I am a regular customer who often checks item prices without issue. The incident occurred on the afternoon of April 7, 2024. I am looking for a resolution as I believe I did nothing wrong. What actions can be taken regarding this situation?

Find the pants pocketbook I was trying to buy.Mybe I should get a discount for the trouble they caused me.I\'m a senior citizen if it matters.I dn\'t care about the hats.
