My complaint:
I was in to drop donations. I drove up waited 5 mins. No one. Called the store. Woman was nice said they would be right out.
Then rude assistant manager came out as if I was a bother. Threw. Not set items aside and Rudely asked if I needed a tax slip. I was a manager for a Goodwill in Kentucky. This is definitely not the presence you want to show customers. This is not the first time she has been rude while I’ve been to this location. She always has a chip in her shoulder but this is the straw that broke the camels back.
I will no longer donate anything to Goodwill. I instead will take my items to Salvation Army. I’m a daily shopper (on lunch breaks) to this location. I think I will cease my visits.
Suggested solution:
She needs to be reminded who the customer is and that without us donating and purchasing she would have no job. It’s sad that this ASM is as rude as she is.
