My complaint:

One day I tried to look up a number that had been calling me. Unbeknownst to me There is a scam website called Goreversephone.com. I paid 1 dollar for a “free trial offer” to look up a report on this number which of course it said no information available. The trial offer states if you don’t cancel in 5 days you will be charged 68.22 every month. Naturally I cancelled by filing out a form and sending it by email and also called numerous times after being hung up on by call bots im assuming. Finally a lady told me my account was cancelled and that I would not be charged. Well of course the 5th day I was charged 68.22 and the same lady on the phone told me “ you didn’t cancel your account so we can not refund you this money.” Naturally I file a dispute with GOBANK and after a week was sent a letter in the mail saying “ The dispute in question has been denied because you authorized the transaction.” How incompetent and lazy can someone be, especially a company like GOBANK to not actually investigate. On the Better Buisness Bureau website there is over 50 diffrent comments against GOREVERSEPHONE from people stating the exact or similar situation happened to them. It is 100 percent a scam website and they make it near impossible to cancel your “ trial offer” and when and if you are actually able to get through you still get charged 68.22. MONTHLY. I mean no wonder these scammers stay in buisness so long. What kind of Bank talks about they take disputes very seriously but don’t investigate at all. I mean I have proof that I canceled my “ account “ but I guess that doesn’t matter. How horrible is that?

Suggested solution:

Investigate the dispute and look at the evidence and refund the unauthorized transaction that was made in the amount of $68.22.
