My complaint:
GFL Environmental did not pick up our garbage and recycling due to weather. That is understandable. They left a message that garbage would be picked up on the Saturday after the normal pickup day. They did not do that. Then they said “we normally pickup both weeks the following week”. I said, no, that’s not what YOUR message said. I want 25% off my bill, you did not provide the service I am paying for. I was told “they don’t do that”. It is a RIP off to only pickup three times but bill for four. If this happens at a large scale there should be a lawsuit.
Suggested solution:
Give me 25% off my bill to accurately reflect the service provided.
