My complaint:
Access to my properly placed recycling container was blocked by repair vehicles parked in the street in front of my neighbors house and mine. The trash-man had to exit his truck to move the container to where he could lift it with his truck……for which I give him appreciative credit. He probably could have refused to make a collection at all. However, when he completed the task, he left the recycling container out in the middle of the culdesac. Not wanting damage to happen to either the container or a vehicle, I retrieved the container myself. I am new to the area, and as a senior citizen, I don’t know if this practice is common or considered acceptable by the company but I was not impressed by my new service.
Suggested solution:
Tell the drivers to not leave trash or recycling containers in roadways.
