My complaint:

I purchased a 2020 premier equinox in February 2020. Due to the pandemic i did very little driving until June of 2021 when i took a trip to Massachusetts. I noticed that my navigation system was working, yet it was not providing with traffic condition, accidents or delays. When i returned home to Florida, I brought the issue to the service department. They have worked on this for 3 weeks now and still no results to get fixed. I have Sirus radio which provides the service i need, yet they said i need ON Star in order to get this. We tried On Star without any good results. My screen has 6 icons, or which 4 are lit and 2 are not. The 2 that are not are traffic conditions and re-route. Today I was told they are giving me 6 months of On Star and if that doesn’t work then i need to buy the apps in order to get this working. This vehicle is still under warrantee and I should not be responsible to purchase any extras to do what i originally paid for.

Suggested solution:

Swap out the unit with a system that will work properly.
