My complaint:
My wife called to the Foodlion in Scottsville, Va on Sunday around 1230 to order chicken wings, well no one would answer the phone. This is not the first time this has happened..several times before it has happened. So when I arrived at the store I stood right beside the Deli counter and dial the number, and I heard the phone ringing and the two workers heard the phone and they ignored it. Before they have said that the phone did not work in the deli, well that’s was a lie. I spoke with the Manager Eric and the first thing he said was the phone doesn’t work. Well I told him that I stood right by the Deli counter and dial the number, it rang but they ignored it. Well he kinda laughed it off and said he would speak too them. But, he’s always out smoking with them and etc. I know he’s NOT going to as address this problem with the Deli staff.
Suggested solution:
If they are going to take preorders for deli foods, the they need to answer the phone. If you are working in customer service, show a little professionalism. Foodlion in Scottsville is the closest food store to where I live. We shop there 90% of the ty time and we spend good money there, but to be lied to is unacceptable.
