My complaint:
We had a flight booked for 9:50pm on March 31st, 2022 from Montreal to Vancouver (home). Upon arrival at the airport, we could not see the flight on the departures. We did research of our own to find out the flight had been cancelled with no warning to us (no e-mail, text, call). We tried calling the airline but were on hold for 2 and a half hours.
The flight we are now on is 24 hours later (without any notification to us).
Suggested solution:
We would like to be compensated for the 24 hours that we had to stay in Montreal (food, hotel, inconvenience) of $1000.
