My complaint:

Went to family Dollar on July 17th 2020 purchased 29.43 worth of items to gave the cashier 40.00 when giving me my change she SAID I can offer you 10.00 due to me not having any change. It’s 11 am in the morning why no change I asked why didn’t this was disclosed before taking the money she pointed at a 3×5 index card taped on the plexi glass stating low on change so i refused to leave with my .57 cents while standing up there another employee told the cashier dont bother looking for change cause there ait none the cashier then went to her jacket and gave me .14 cents and said that’s all I can do

My point is how long have this been going on and what happens at the end of the day when all those people like me get sent out the door without our change is the drawer being counted as overage why no change at 11am on Friday a bank was across the and this entire store had NO CHANGE not i nickle dime or quarter
