Family Dollar complaint: Missing Merchandise

My complaint:

On, Friday, November 13, 2020 at approximately 3:00p.m., I purchased over $90.00 worth of products from the store. Included in my purchase were the following items:
1 pack of 24 dish towels ($5), 2 pks. of clear condiment cups ($1ea. x 2, for a total of $2.00) and 1 bottle of Pine Sol ($3).
At the time in which I was leaving the store, I noticed that I could not remove the cart from the store. The Store manager and another employee offered to assist me in removing my purchased items from the store. At that time, I didn’t check my bags, as I did not see a need. I believed that all of my items were there. When, I arrived home, I noticed one bag missing with the above named items missing.
On Saturday, November 14, 2020, at approximately 9:30 a.m., I went back to the store, along with my receipt and explained to the manager that I did not receive my purchased merchandise. He assured me that after reviewing the camera, I did receive my items. Again, he told me that I did have them. I, again, explained to him that I did NOT receive those items. I asked him if he would allow me to retrieve those items and he stated that I could NOT. I asked him, even though I purchased them and did NOT receive them. He again told me that I did have the items. I DID NOT RECIEVE THOSE ITEMS.

Suggested solution:

I would like a refund for the amount of the items that I purchased and DID NOT Receive. That would total $10.00. I would also like to receive a refund for the tax amount included.
Finally, at this point, I would not recommended shopping at Family Dollar to my professional colleagues. We will continue to shop at the major competitors as a result of the lack of empathy and concern in which your employees displayed toward me as a law abiding, up standing citizen and member of my community.
