My complaint:

Well I never have done this before, but out of frustration and anger I have to declare that I will never, ever will go buy anything at Family Dollar at Howland in front of Save a Lot at Courtland in Deltona. I went to return a pair of girls outfit because it was the wrong size. I believed I had the receipt inside the bag along with the clothes but it wasn’t, I could not find it but what really bothered me is that the female who I talked to (Dolores is her name)said that I can have a same article without the receipt and I agreed but there was not the size I needed, ok so I came back to the cashier with two other similar ones same price and that person was not at the cashier, instead the lady in place told me it was ok to do it since she is the manager, then the cashier who I talked to in first place came back with this offensive attitude telling the manager, “ I told her if she didn’t have the receipt she could not exchange it for another article because it’s not the same and I don’t know if when she bought it it was on sale that you buy one and the second is half price” , so she’s calling me a “thief”. I’m not the kind of person that gets into arguments with people I don’t know ,but that was a lack of respect from her side. She didn’t have to say it in that way and this is not the right way to treat customers and it’s not the first time I see that coming from her. I usually buy at this store for the convenience location but for me this is the last time buying at this specific store. And I have to say that when she came with that bad attitude the manager moved to the side and stayed quiet. I spent $90 that day at that specific store buying clothes for my grandchildren. I consider myself an honest person that never had treated anyone with disrespect and when I approached her I did it in a proper manner , but I always have a feeling that this person has anger problems , she’s never friendly at least with me the few times I’ve been there.

Suggested solution:

Probably sent her to a training and talk to the manager too, it looks to me that the manager also was intimidated with her attitude.
