Family Dollar complaint: Expired food items

My complaint:

On multiple occasions I have bought food items from this specific location and when I returned home I noticed they were expired. Today I visited the store and bought a few items including hot sauce. I opened the hot Sauce and saw a disgusting discolored film over the top hole. I immediately checked the date of expiration on the hot sauce bottle and saw it expired NOVEMBER OF 2019. I am more than concerned as to why the store would still have items that expired over a year ago on the shelf?

Also the store has a notice hanging by the registers that due to covid regulations they are no longer doing returns for any items! I shop here often and If you cannot resolve this issue I will no longer be a valued customer.

Suggested solution:

You could resolve my complaint by accepting returns during this difficult times, paying closer attention to shelf life of items and maybe providing some sort of gift card of value for all the troubles.
