My complaint:

i was recently ask to step down from being an asst mgr supposedly so i woulnt get to maney hours that would effect my social security.according to my s.s. letter about by benefits i can earn 19,000.oo dollars a year.i was getting around 32-33 hours and my social security was not gonna be affected.i went ahead and stepped down to cashier the mgr only wants women wolrking in that store so she hired another women to fill my asst mgr position.im fine with that but she has made the statement to former employees,custormers and venders and current employes thart she only wanted women in her store.sha assured me when i stepped down she assured me thart she would make sure i got 15-20 hours a week.well just recently she cut myhours along with another male employee to 8 hrs a week so she could give our hours to another female employee that she hired {that we did not need} and gaver our hours.i know she is just trying to get rid of her male employyees and this is not right.i am 65 years old and have worked in retail mostly all my life.ive worked atwal mart in management and other buessnesses and have got all good to excellant evaluatins.im very honest,trustworthy,loyal and dedicated to any job i have.and feel she is so wrong in doing me and my other male co worker this way just to make this store an all female operated store this is so wrong.i might add me and my co worker{male} are excellent cashiers and give good custormer service.we are both very well known in this town and our custormers have alot of respect for us.i reached out to our distric supervisor but dont feel like he handled the situation righ because on our new schedule me and my male coworker have got 8 hours and we were getting 10 hours she took the hours she cut from us and gave this new women our hours.again this is not right or fair to us.i have other things i could report but ill keep that to myself for another time.

Suggested solution:

she should.but probally give us our hours back and make sure the new lady doesnt get no more hours than we do. but probally she will cut my mours even more to get rid of me.because im sure you know most mgrs dont like for employees to go over their heads to get a problem fixed.
