My complaint:

On 11102020, approximately 10:30 a.m., after attempting to pay for items obtained at that store. Adding that I was using my Walker in the store. I asked if I needed to separate my food from non food items? Was told no by the cashier. My card was processed and needed to repeat with a more exact figure, which was approved. The remaining portion was $40.60 which the cashier tried to gather the change. But, I asked to remove an item to reduce the final amount by $1.00. The cashier refused, claiming he didn’t have the capability to delete and had to ring up everything again? With the bags all packed on my Walker I asked for a manager not wanting to do this all over again? People behind me in line, I was denied service and asked to leave by another Hispanic man with a beard, claiming to disallow me purchasing my items? Threatened, after questioning why not delete instead of ringing all the items again and no receipt given. For my food purchase, not the food? Claimed the dollar taken out was placed back into my account, but no receipt would or would be given to me? So unprofessional and racist in nature? I also am disabled and denied a basket to use?.

Justified complaint?

Suggested solution:

The employees shown how to delete an item or use the system, to not inconvenience the customer. Apology for the improper behavior. Disciplined for the threats made to me with no basis? I had the money to pay and was asked to leave?
Better manager, not racists!

Once the transaction has begun to be processed or any part paid for by any means the only option is to start over, items can not be removed and coupons can not be applied after partial payment

Understand, but I wanted to buy food and had enough, and nonfood items. I was short 70 cents and the cashier attempted to help me but I chose to want to delete something. Not knowing the stress for me as a customer. If I had not been stressed, I might of remembered I had on me $100 bill saved, to pay for everything. But, the manager was so rude, and didn’t want to sell the items to me? Said, “you are not wanted here, I am asking you to leave the store, if not I will call to have you… Read more »
