My complaint:

I came to the the Family Dollar early morning on November 28th I had a really bad tooth ache I’m stand in line holding Advil and Orel Gel and money there was someone in front of me with alot of stuff so I opened the Advil and popped to pills in my mouth and I spilled a few on the floor the male cashierasstant Manger then said that I could open the Advil without paying for them first. I said hey I’m in alot of pain and I already swallowed to pills. He got really angry and he stopped checking out the customer that was in front of me and went to the phone and called the police and told them that he wants to press charges on me for shoplifting.i told him that he was nuts that I got money in my hand for the the items that I have and I’ve been stand here in line waiting to pay them. Then he aggressively came from behind the counter yelling and approaching me I felt like he was going to do something to me so I said to him don’t come any closer to me or I’m going to have to react. Another customer spoke up and to him that I didn’t do anything to make him come at me like that and that can he press charges on me for shoplifting when I’m standing in line with money in my hand. Then the female cashier that was on the other register told the customer since you said that to the Assistant manager I’m gonna have to ask you to leave the store and don’t come back the customer left. The police came the Assistant Manager told them the he wants to press charges to the fullest for shoplifting and that j stood therei in line and opened the Advil and took two pills right in front of him. I told the police the same as I’m telling you. Police had me give them money to pay for the items I had. Then we went outside and they thanked me for keeping calm to someone like him and the served me with papers stating that I can’t go back to that Family Dollar for 6 months. I told them to keep the papers and that I’m not going to any Family Dollar ever again. I’m 47 years old and if shopped faithful at the Family Dollar. After this experience I will never shop there again
