My complaint:
I purchased a two liter bottle of cola and when I got home noticed that the seal was broken and the soda was flat. Not a problem, I went back at my earliest convenience and explain to the cashier with the receipt that I need a replacement bottle.
At this her and the manager eagerly verbally battered me, telling me that I must present to them the flat soda in order to get an exchange. They were cackling each other in Spanish over my head and amused that I couldn’t understand what was being said.
Not the first time I was treated like a since for not speaking Spanish.
Last time I checked English is still an official language of the United States.
Also the manager told me to go shop somewhere else if I didn’t like what they said.
They gave me a panic attack over a two dollars bottle of soda.
Suggested solution:
I would like a proper bottle of soda and a written apology.
