Complaint: Could not sell an item

My complaint:

I shopped today and one item I had in my cart would not scan on register, so the item was thrown on shelf behind cashier and I was told I could not purchase that item.
No apologies, no explanation.
Totally rude cashier.
Customer service in this store is awe full.

Suggested solution:

Need to retrain employees if they want to sell items from store.
