Dear Sirs,

The complain is about our return flight from Lahore to Amsterdam via Abu Dhabi.
In Pakistan I was sick and needed medical attention. Due to medical reasons we (my self my wife) could non fly back on the booked date of the 11th of November 2022.
So, I called the customer service of Etihad and asked them to reschedule our flight to the 12th of November 2022. After a very long discussion, the customer service representative told me that he could reschedule the flight but there was a fine, and the total amount I had to pay extra was 1798,00 Euros for 2 tickets.
We were stranded in Pakistan and had no other choice than pay this high amount. I was prepared to pay a (small amount) fine, but 1798 Euro’s is way too much. This is the double amount of the purchased ticket price.

Is this normal how you treat your loyal customers. In the past I was using another airline to fly with. A family member told me to be a loyalty member of Etihad, so I did. After your discussion I will decide if I stay with Etihad for the future or not.

Please consider my case. I will appreciate if I get a refund, or a discount on my next flight.
