My complaint:
We bought a flight ticket from Ethiopia to Canada for my sister who was travelling to Canada from India in June 2021. However, since the Ethiopian government suspended e-visas from India and visa on arrival provision, she could not travel, therefore rendering the flight ticket from Ethiopia to Canada unusable without any fault of ours.
We would therefore request for a full refund for the cancelled flight ticket as it was solely due to the Ethiopian government’s decision to cancel the visa, therefore leaving us with not choice but to not be able to travel to Canada through Ethiopia.
Suggested solution:
Refund the ticket amount and explain the reasons for the delay in resolving this as it has been months since this was raised and is still pending.
