My complaint:
Approximately 17 months ago, my Gmail account was compromised, which subsequently resulted in the loss of access to my Epic Games account. Since this incident, I have been engaged in an ongoing battle to reclaim my account. However, despite successfully regaining control of my Gmail account with assistance from Google Support, my efforts to recover my Epic Games account have unfortunately been unsuccessful.
It’s worth noting that, throughout this ordeal, I have been forthcoming with as much information as possible to prove my ownership of the account. However, I feel as though I’ve been denied the opportunity to provide substantial evidence to support my claim. Despite my readiness and willingness to furnish additional proof, I was denied ownership without what I perceive as a thorough investigation – akin to receiving exam results without taking the test.
The Epic Games account in question is not simply a gaming profile to me; it represents a significant emotional, temporal, and financial investment. It holds years of memories, achievements, and monetary input, all of which seem to have been dismissed without a second thought. The denial of my ownership feels akin to being defrauded of the value I have invested into this account over the years.
While I fully understand and respect Epic Games’ commitment to account security, I firmly believe my case deserves a more comprehensive investigation. I am more than willing to provide further necessary information and go through any required verification processes to corroborate my claim.
