Enterprise Rent-A-Car complaint: set a trap for me to purchase Unnecessary DW insurance

My complaint:

It was not my fault in the accident. The other party of the accident took full responsibility and her insurance company took care of repair and car rental.

When signing up the rental car, the agent simply told me, without daily $16.99 DW insurance, if the rental car has total loss damage, I have to pay for it. Although feeling strange, out of fear, I paid for it.

Later on I found out if I have comprehensive insurance (I do!) on my own car, I do not need to purchase DW insurance.

The agent did not ask me if I have comprehensive insurance on my own car. This is a perfect trap for someone like me.

Suggested solution:

Fully refund and apologize.
