My complaint:
Room 319 had mold in the ceilings. Then was moved to an alternate room 312, with water leaks and water marks to greet you. Black people were sent to the third floor. Where Econolodge’s leaky roof had mold and water leaks in the rooms on the third floor. Meanwhile, the white people were placed in the better rooms on the first and second floor away from mold and water leaks. Interesting, especially during this COVID-19 Pandemic. The general manager, Terry Reed thought that was suitable for paying guests. When asked to be refunded for the night with the mold. That disgusting poor excuse for a manager, let alone a general manger did absolutely nothing. The stay was disgusting and his lack of customer service was even more disturbing and UNACCEPTABLE!!
Suggested solution:
They should not be allowing paying guests to stay in moldy rooms. They should take care of their leaking roof issues. Most especially when a paying guests is complaining of mold and water leaks in the rooms, they should definitely accommodate the guests with a refund and make their stay more hospitable and sanitary. Most importantly they should adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines so this doesn\'t happen again!!
