My complaint:

I had just sold an item on eBay for 300 dollars plus shipping fees. Buyer paid via my PayPal account. I went to print the shipping label on eBay and I immediately received a message from eBay that transaction did NOT go through. I logged unto my PayPal account to discover my PayPal account of probably over 10 years was shut down with NO viable reason given. A few days before that I sent PayPal a complaint and they sent me an apology with a 25 dollar credit to use in the future. I had not had any issues what so ever with PayPal up until the pandemic problem hit, then their business behavior started becoming suspect in them wanting personal information on my account verified over and over again. And now shutting down my account for no reason and freezing my funds for 180 days is beyond the pale. The company acts like it has been taken over by a bunch of low life thugs who are taking advantage of mom and pop online sellers. PayPal probably is using sellers money to skim the accrued interest off the top and pocket it.

Suggested solution:

Re Open my account, and refund my monies that are currently frozen. Which assurances that this type of situation will NEVER happen again. You can't close peoples accounts without just cause and freeze their account monies. Especially not disclosing their reasons for doing so. I actually believe there are no reasons, it is just made up BS to take advantage of people and they legally should not be able to get away with that BS. Most people cannot afford to hire a legal team to sue companies like PayPal.
