My complaint:
Item 124888460896 Tanto Knife ebay doc 113019414007. Order 26-07648-12179 sold to me by alphaled23@gmail.com at total AUS896.77. 26 Sep 2021 Sold as being 1718c Tanto sword when in fact it was made in the 1990’s. Contacted seller but never received any response since reporting to him Tanto was a ‘fake’. Trying to Resolve this has been painstaking and unfruitful due to Covid Lockdown here in NZ and also Australia resulting in the very long delay in receiving Tanto. Thus exercising the eBay 30-day return was impossible and in fact not until 1 December 2021 was able to return item which was attempted to be delivered to seller until 30 December 2021 (tracking info attached)
I’m in my 80’s and have been with eBay for over 20 years and this has been a very worrying experience for me.
Suggested solution:
Either ensure seller reimburses me or alternatively the 30-day eBay being redundant time-wise with postal delays should reimburse me...
