My complaint:
I booked 11 day break to Morocco after 4 days easyJet messaged me to say your flight home is cancelled and you can book on the last flight tomorrow just manage your booking on line ( day 5 of holiday ) .So we done that rushed and packed all our clothes had to try and return hire car and got to the airport at 9am for the flight at 1320 ,to find that flight had been cancelled .we was then told to make our way to Marrakesh airport ( 5 hour drive ) as they have a flight going from there as the airports are going into lockdown .so we rushed to the airport to find there was no flight and everything was closed the info desk and swissport who deal with easyJet .we was told there was a Ba flight going to London in morning to London even tho our car was in Manchester where we originally flew from .so we booked on that and slept on airport floor .in the morning we woke to find that flight had been cancelled so booked a Ryanair flight , but they had overbooked .we then found out Ba had put the flight back on to London so we caught that £2;000 out of pocket for flights we had booked ,we then had to pay for coach 2 taxis and hotel overnight to get back to Manchester
Easy jet are refusing to acknowledge we even had a booking even tho I have emails from them boarding cards and the email to say your flight is booked and refusing to pay anything or even acknowledge my emails they just keep sending me emails with their terms and conditions on .This is shocking treatment the whole holiday with hotel only cost me £1000 and it cost me£2,000 to get home .i have all my receipts and proof for anything I had to spend to get home and all my proof of the booking .But they still keep saying we don’t recognise your booking after I have sent them all the proof
Suggested solution:
I want my flight home refunded which I paid for and they didn’t give me they left me stranded in Morocco and compensation for the money I paid to get home
