My complaint:
EA Origins program is not allowing The Sims 4 to launch from Steam. I bought The Sims for and all DLC to play. But after download and install from Steam the game didn’t launch. EA Origins needed to be installed. I did the EA Origins install and everything. But the EA Origins need a product key to run and activate the game. Steam doesn’t give product keys and I contacted Customer Support for EA and they refused to help. So I just submitted a refunds for everything I bought for the Sims 4. I’ve never had an issue with Steam it was launch all my games that don’t need another launcher. EA Origins is blocking an over $600 game from working. This complaint was made on complain.biz
Suggested solution:
I don't understand why the Sims 4 needs EA Origin to run at all. Steam is a perfectly good game launcher if you're post games on Steam then let steam run it and launch it. I've never had this issue with other EA Games like Mass Effect. The Sims 4 should not need EA Origins to run and be activated.
