My complaint:
I recently went in for a purchase of tobacco products when asked for id I gave the manager my id she scanned it, at first I had a hard time getting my id out when I finally got it out she scanned it she should have continued with the transaction, I calmly said when I have a hard time getting my id out I usually just use my military id or 1- of my 4 other state issued id’s the manager said rudely said she don’t accept ones that she can’t scan, despite it being military id or concealed carry id, legally any id with a picture birth date is a form of id, passport, military, green card, medical. note I gave her my id she scanned it but must not like have liked hearing me say I could use my military id if I wanted to she smiled said I was welcome to go else where instead of continuing with the transaction when I gave her an Oklahoma state driving license that scanned, im almost 40 so its pretty ridiculous to try educate an supposed manager , after I got the phone number off the bathroom door she changed her tone said if you’ve called down we can try this again, when she was the one who told me that I was welcome to leave instead of ringing me up, she also said state law doesn’t apply if it’s ez marts policy, note I have state id, military id, concealed carry id, medical id all are legal forms of identification, with pictures birthdates. this store lacks the training knowledge to sell alcohol or tobacco products if they turned away my purchase wonder how much profits this store is losing because they don’t want to manually enter a birthday is ridiculous explains why these stores are shutting down
Suggested solution:
Re educate current management staffs she’s improperly training according to state law, one can use license, military id, passport green card to purchase alcohol tobacco products
