At 5:30 PM on 4 Sep 2020 my mom Vicki ordered two medium pizzas to be delivered from the Dominos at 8530 Youree Drive in Shreveport. Myself Joel , my wife Fadile and our daughter Adrianna were present during the order process. At 6:55 PM my mom called Domino’s to see why it was taking so long for the pizzas to be delivered. My mom was told over the phone that they had both pizzas ready for the past 30 minutes and it showed for pickup. We informed them we would come up and speak to a manager. When we arrived, we waited 15 minutes to get to the window and then we were told they did not have an order and was asked did we cancel it and we stated no. We showed the time the order was called in on my mom’s phone. We asked how long it took (average time) for the pizzas to be delivered and they stated 2 to 2-12 hours. The manager also told us the same that it is taking 2 hours for delivery. The manager was African american with a name myself and my mother are unable to pronounce. She stated we can order the pizzas and wait another 15 minutes for them to finish. We finally got our pizzas at around 7:45 PM after waiting in the parking lot. The manager brought the pizzas to the car with no apology or any comment.
Can the phone times be verified or initial order be verified. We felt we were not being given accurate information. Lastly the pizza we did receive was very overcooked.
Reimbursing us for the time and frustration of the $16.41 we spent for the two medium pizzas would be appreciated.
