My complaint:
I placed an online order at 7:30pm. I got a text from dominos (and on the app) said my driver was on the way at 8:06pm. Patiently waiting and still no sign of the delivery at 9:00pm I call the store to see where the order is and the worker told me to wait until at least 9:20pm and if still nothing to call back. 9:20pm comes still no sign of the delivery so I call the store back. After speaking to the worker and the manager neither could say what happened with the order. The manager calls the delivery driver who said he had not seen the order or receive it therefore also didn’t know where it was. When talking to the manager again, they said “the best they could do” was give a credit to dominos or send another order. I asked how long the delivery would take if they sent the order again and the manager said it would be another 2 hours till the delivery would arrive. So they just canceled the order.
Suggested solution:
I feel that I should get free meal costing what my total was because I waited 2 hours for an order and was very patient and waiting for an order that was never coming even though it said it was. If I took up the offer that the manager gave I would have received my dinner after 11:00pm that I ordered at 7:30pm which is unfair,unreasonable, and loss the opportunity to have dominos for dinner.
