My complaint:
I came in to pick up a pizza the customer in front of me was paying in cash. The employee working on toppings( hands in toppings without gloves) comes up to make the cash transaction. Took the bill and gave the customer change for a 20.
He then went and handed me my box.
I was watching as he went DIRECTLY back to the food prep area handing the food( toppings again w NO gloves)
NO HAND WASHING WHATSOEVER ! In this day of COVID many establishments will NOT ACCEPT cash at all! This is in RETAIL shops w NO RAW food involved!!
I am DEEPLY concerned about the lack of general protocol procedures for hand washing in this establishment!
ALSO By the way please note employees should have BOTH NOSE and mouth covered w their mask. Especially if they are breathing over the food!
Suggested solution:
SOMEONE needs to do some retraining and some basic procedures protocols Reviewed AND have some checks and balances to assure they are being enforced!
This should be done with or without a Pandemic!
I don’t feel as a consumer I should be placed in the position of Policing your establishment for BASIC standard protocols! What else is slipping thru the cracks.
I can tell it was commonplace be cause NOT a single person there was in the least bit phased by this!!
