My complaint:
My children and I (3 of us) got together on the 7th of October. We were very hungry and decided to order out since 2 of us had birthdays.
I really wanted to go somewhere special, but by the time that we ordered, we couldn’t decide on anything specific so we ended up getting hungrier and hungrier and ordered Domino’s.
To put it bluntly, my daughter ordered and I couldn’t believe how much we were RAPED for an uneventful, almost tasteless pizza! The pizzas were not anything special but something I would have been able to receive for $7.99 in PA.
However, the $70.00 that my daughter paid could have bought us a very nice meal over at Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden or even Red Lobster!
I was disgusted and appalled when I found out!
Suggested solution:
My thinking is that she would have paid $7.99 per pizza ordinarily. Had I known at the time that the bill was so high, I would have went elsewhere. You know, $8.00 per pizza is doable. Even $10.00 per pizza - but almost $23.00 per pizza is UNREASONABLE for a average pizza. That said, I believe that you should credit her the difference.
