My complaint:
On May 12, 2022I purchased a ebay gift card At the dollar general store For $100When I got home I attempted to use it to buy something on ebay But it was declined So I called to check balance on the card And it said invalid card Redemption code number used on another card.I called back to dollar general And they told me to bring it back And let them check it out.The checked out the sales receipt And said nothing was invalid when there end I told them to call the card number To see what I was talking about So they did and they got the same thing as I did But still refused to get my money back said it was ebays problem.I called ebay they clearly said That is the store that has to give me the refund back After they checked the invalid code also I went back to the store and told them what I was told they still refused to refund my money And I was told to call Comcast What she say wasn’t supposed to give me their numbers it is for the Merchant to call and behave Of the consumers But they wouldn’t call them they told me I had to call them Consumer report associated call And told her general that they had My money back But they still refused .I went back to the store for the 3rd time and ask them if they were gonna refund my money and I would splat a told no.I called ebay back And they are getting in contact with the FTC and tell me that I need it to do it too in which I did.The manager was very belligerent to me She got the same message off the card that I did Clearly stating that the card was no good But yet refused to refund me.
Suggested solution:
They can resolve my complaint but give me my money back They show me something that did not work Why am I being punished for it
