My complaint:

I was hired on February 23, 2024, as lead sales associate by the manager. I always arrived at work on time and performed my duties as expected. I thoroughly enjoyed my role and was willing to come in even on days off or when others wouldn’t, such as through Easter weekend, to help out due to being short-staffed. I followed all instructions given by the manager.

On my day off, April 4, 2024, I messaged the manager to inquire about transferring to the store in Newellton, as that is where I reside. The manager agreed to initiate the transfer the following Monday. I also reached out to the manager at the Newellton store to express my interest in transferring. However, I was informed there were no openings for a lead sales associate position at the moment but was advised to wait for a possible transfer. After learning this, I requested the initial manager to delay my transfer process. Surprisingly, I was informed by this manager that due to a decision influenced by discussions with their district manager, my employment was to be terminated, and I was asked to return the store key.

Confused, I sought clarification the next day on why I was being let go, given that I hadn’t violated any company policies to my knowledge. The explanation provided was related to allegations of tampering with cameras and a discrepancy with the deposit, despite the issue having been resolved. I contested these accusations, especially since I lacked the knowledge to tamper with security equipment.

It appears that my termination was influenced by remarks made by another manager, leading to my dismissal over alleged actions I am confident I did not commit. It would be helpful if someone could contact me to clarify this situation, as I believe there has been a misunderstanding.

Suggested solution:

talk to the manager and resolve this problem for me cause i really loved my job and my customers always said i was the only one that would take the time to help them find things in store and that i was a very hard worker there. please help me get my job back i have two boys that depend on me and i was done wrong here.
