My complaint:
I filed the dispute because my card was stolen out of my friend’s mailbox and did everything they asked me to do filled out the dispute form they told me the funds would be available in my account within 10 business days as long as I turned in the form on time never stated anything about not getting the funds if I was denied or even having a decision about the dispute was promised by a lady on I believe the 4th or the 5th of April stating I would for sure get my funds on the 8th which I never received my funds or the disputed credit from what was stolen off my card and they’re trying to tell me my dispute was denied because of conflict of what I wrote from the form to what I told her on the phone which I stated the same information I had told the lady on the phone the lady I talked to stated that I never stated that my information had been stolen previously a couple like a month or a couple months ago when the wording in the form doesn’t say that it just says describe the circumstance and of the Lost or theft or use of your card well I have a learning disability and didn’t know that I had to state that in there I have a very hard time understanding forms and the wording that you guys do in government forms or whatever and they told me from Direct Express when I talk to a manager that they would not change the decision didn’t give me an option to appeal it didn’t give me an option to do have another person review the form in my dispute nothing and I’m not happy I had $3,400 some odd dollars stolen off of my Direct Express Card and disputed it right away and I am out these funds and I need that money I have bills and everything to pay.
Suggested solution:
By getting direct express to give me the reprovision credit to my account that I was promised.
