Direct Express complaint: Debit card expired

My complaint:

I am on disability I receive my benefits on a direct express card my card has expired I didn’t know it expired until yesterday I went to the bank to get my money off it to pay my bills was told by the bank teller that it was expired I came home to call direct express they told me they didn’t issue me a card I asked why they said oops it happens sometimes I explained that I have bills to pay and they are do on my payday they told me they would send me another card it would take 4 to 10 days to get here or I could have a expedited mail by ups and cost 13.50 for me to pay for their mistake I have called back today to ask them about waving the fee because it’s their screw up not mine they told me they wasn’t going to eat it that’s my problem I told Olivia ( the floor supervisor) today then maybe they should pay me interest on my money since they screwed up she told me good luck with that

Suggested solution:

Get my card here now and waive the fee ups charges they can pay it because it’s their mistake not mine they don’t care about anything but themselves
