I took my kids to Dick’s sporting goods on Saturday Dec 26, 2020. We we’re looking for work out equipment and boxing gloves. The manager of that store which her name is Susan approach us with a very nasty attitude. Asking what we were doing? Did not even bother to ask if we needed any assistance with anything. I responded, that we were just looking at the equipment. We proceed to the check out are because my other son was purchasing a frisbee. But prior to that we had went to Best Buy to purchase headphones. Best Buy didn’t give us bag for the purchase. So my son was carrying the headphones just like that. As we were waiting for my son to purchase the frisbee. The cashier said if we were going to pay for the item my son had in his hand. I showed her the box which it was the headphones and I responded that we had purchased those at best buy. We we’re still waiting for my son by the door. When the manager Susan comes running to us and accusing my son if steeling. She said to my 14 year old where all the boxing gloves? We’re do you have them almost wanted to pat him down!! I asked to speak to the manager because this totally unacceptable. She responded I am the manager being very nasty. She didn’t even bother to apologize or anything she just walked away. This behavior is unacceptable special to my 14 year son. He’s still a kid!! And just because we’re Hispanics accused my son of stealing. It’s sad to see that you have people with that attitude representing your store. Will definitely never go to your stores again!!
We deserve an apology!! And train your staff on how to deal with customer service. Specially your managers.
