My complaint:
I placed an order for 40 scarves from a DHGATE seller called wjcstore. The total cost was $44.80. I paid and was contacted a couple of days later by the seller stating there was an error in the charge and offered to send me 24 scarves instead but without refunding me anything. I told them I needed all 40 scarves or they can cancel. Several days later the seller messaged asking to please not cancel and that they will speak to their boss, which they said the boss said it was ok. So I agreed not to cancel believing I was receiving the 40 scarves. I waited a month and finally tracking stated order was delivered. Well freaking scammers sent me a blue paper mask being used for the Covid virus! They did this just to have tracking show item was delivered but they sent me a stupid mask. I contacted them and DHGATE and never got a reply. Thank God I used PayPal which is investigating but I needed to warn others to stay away from this site.
Suggested solution:
DHGATE should suspend all sellers who cheat their customers. This seller has bad reviews. I am confident I will win my case but I am so annoyed they got away with playing me and making me miss out on the scarves which were gifts for a party.
